August 2015 Program

Organizing your Sewing Rooms!

Join Sandy & Peri as we look into each other’s sewing areas. We will explore some problem areas and possible solutions. Lots of pictures were sent in by your fellow quilters. Not only are we wonderful quilters but we also have creative solutions and ideas in our quilting spaces.

Be ready to be motivated to implement an idea or two!

You won’t want to miss this.

See you on August 13th at 6:30 for social hour & 7p.m. meeting time.

Vendor available!

Program June 12, 2014

Guild meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month and start at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for social hour. We meet in Faith Hall at Stevensville United Methodist Church, 5506 Ridge Road, Stevensville, MI. 49127 (please don’t come before 6:30, as we are setting up then)

The Programs theme this year is BASIC TRAINING! Please bring along a small sewing basket filled with needle, thread (basic color), scissors (paper & fabric), thimble and any other things you like to have handy for small projects. This year will be a “hands-on” basic training for all of us quilters!

Board meetings are held quarterly at the Lincoln Township Library, 2099 W. John Beers Road, Stevensville, MI. 49127  The meetings are open to all guild members, but only the board may vote. They are held in the Quiet Reading Room at 6:30- 8:30p.m.

Applique Society is held the third Wednesday of every month at the Bridgman Public Library, 4460 Lake St., Bridgman, MI 49106 from 5:30 – 8p.m. This group is a great resource if you are looking to learn about applique and many other aspects of quilting. Perhaps you are wondering if applique is something you would enjoy, come and try it out. New and seasoned quilters are welcome! Contact: Sue Russell or Linda Woods.

Quilty Summer Fun is held at the Bridgman Public Library, 4460 Lake St., Bridgman, MI 49106. There will be 2 times available for a hands-on demo, you may attend either time each month: 11-12:30a.m. or 2– 3:30p.m. Look in the newsletter for details on what to bring each month during our “summer”, (May through August).
